Newspaper sales

It worked so well last year that we’re doing it again in 2009. On Friday, October 23, The Post-Journal will publish a special edition focusing on The Resource Center, and volunteers will fan out across the area to sell papers at local businesses and on street corners. Many people with disabilities are unable to fully participate in community life because they lack transportation. For these people, The Resource Center and TRC Foundation have established a program whereby individuals with disabilities can obtain vouchers that can be redeemed for cab rides. But the need for transportation is greater than the money available for vouchers.
